NABET-CWA and NBC Universal negotiators resumed talks last week in New York City. Joint sessions were held on October 19th and October 21st, and the parties worked in separate caucuses on October 20th. While some additional progress was made on some of these issues, no overall agreement has yet been reached.
Talks adjourned with NABET-CWA and NBCU committing to keep the lines of communication open, and both sides are coordinating dates to resume talks as soon as possible. We will notify the membership as soon as new bargaining dates are scheduled.
In the meantime, the Union Bargaining Committee reminds all members to ignore rumors. All official negotiation and mobilization information will be delivered on the Sector website (www.nabetcwa.org), as well as on Local websites, hotlines, and e-mail lists.
